If youâre grinding through MLB The Show 26 Mini Seasons, you might have run into some frustrating glitches. From roster errors to progress freezes, these bugs can stop your grind cold. Luckily, there are some workarounds that seasoned players have found to get things back on track.
1. Invalid Roster / âOpponent Has Invalid Rosterâ
The Glitch: Sometimes you canât start a game because the CPU opponentâs roster is invalid. Common culprits include quirky teams like the âLordsâ or âCats.â
Solution:
Go to View and Edit Roster â Squad Options â Generate Best Squad.
If that doesnât work mid-season, your safest bet is to restart the Mini Season.
2. Pitcher Stamina Bug
The Glitch: Your starting pitchers show depleted stamina at the start of a fresh season or a 9-inning game, even if they should be fully rested.

Before the game, open Manage Squad and manually swap your starting rotation.
