If you own a galaxy mini, we will show you how to upgrade the smartphone to android 2.3.4 gingerbread (official S5570XXKPK). Let's check it out...
Requirements
- USB Cable
- Samsung Kies Installed or Samsung USB Drivers
- Odin Multi Downloader
- Android Files
Tutorial:
1. Shut down your GalaxyMini.
2. Press Home Button+Volume Down + Power Button
*the phone will be downloading mode. Keep the buttons pressed untill he opens downloading mode.
3. Connect the USB cable
4. Open Odin Multi Downloader.
5. OPS: Select TASS_v.1.0.ops
6. Check One Package and select S5570XXKPK_S5570XXKPK_S5570SERKPK_HOME.tar
*make sure you checked: One Package / Auto Rebot / Protect OPS & Reset Time to 300 (sometimes it auto check the reset time to 200 or 300.
7. Press Start.
8. Wait untill it says PASS.
*do not touch the phone in this procces, the phone will auto-rebot itself. Don't play with it untill it says PASS.
9. After it says PASS, disconnect the USB cable and enjoy.
Risk:
1. In the upgrade process do NOT touch the phone.
2. Do NOT shut down your PC in the process.
Brick?
Yes, for exemple if the PC shut downs in the process there is a risk of bricking phone but if he opens downloading mode, the phone can be repaired. Don't worry about brick, you can't brick that easy your phone. We tested this upgrade and works perfect, for us the electricity shut downs in process, but after it comes up, open downloading mode and re-install.
