This is what I did to make a ---(I believe it will work for other Core's as well),took me 2-3 days to figure it all out.I did not come across a guide that had EVERYTHING needed to be done to start a server,so took me awhile to figure it out.Many web searches later and here is my compiled guide.
Make sure your client matches the Repacks client(Must be the same wow version/patch),I used JZY's 3.3.5a repack.If your client is 3.3.5a already skip the first step. (Repacks download location at the bottom of the guide)
<A>First,Install a fresh copy of WOW so you can have another World of Warcraft client to run 3.3.5a.This is not bad especially considering you can install all version's of WOW with just using the Wraith Of The Lich King disc.When installing pick a different destination to install the the new wow client to,so nothing gets overwritten.I'm not totally sure if it even asks but that's just a warning to save you a head ache.I saved my complete 3.3.5a and 4.0.6 folders on a external HD just in case anything was to ever happen to the folders.After installing Wrath of the lich king make sure you install every patch in the right order.I did find a few patches I had downloaded were not actually the correct patch,so pay attention to the numbers;i.e., WoW-3.0.2.9056-to-3.0.3.9183-enUS-patch.exe and line them up carefully,then install. For those of you who would rather just download a pre-patched 3.3.5a Client you can do that using Torrents.Download torrents at your own risk,I am not responsible for anything that happens;i.e, Jail time/Internet shutdown/Viruses.These are just possibilities people,nobody freak out.*I would run a virus scan on the WOW folder if you decide to download* (BitTorrent program and Torrent link at the bottom of guide)
<B>Next,download a repack.Once you extract everything using a program such as Winrar,put the DBC/MAPS/VMAPS all into the REPACK older. (If your repack did not come with any MAPS/VAMPS there is a map extractor and Winrar links at the bottom of the guide)
If you wish to keep the server private,for you only to play on,just change your realmlist.wtf.This Can be found in your C:/programfiles/worldofwarcraft/data/enUS folder or where ever you installed your 3.3.5a client.Open the realmlist using notepad and change the top line to this:
set realmlist 127.0.0.1
Once done save the realmlist and start up your new Private Server.
<C>Starting up your server:
1.Start mySQL in the repack server folder.
2.Start authserver.exe in the repack folder.
3.Start worldserver.exe in the repack folder.
4.After the worldserver is finished,type these commands into the worldserver.exe window to create accounts on the server:
.account create (account name) (account password) <----- This command creates a user
.account set addon (account name) 2 <----- This command sets the highest expansion the server/account is using which is WOTLK 3.3.5a so it is set to 2. (If you create a Cataclysm sever do not set an addon leave it how ever it is set,If you already changed it just .account delete (account name) or just create a whole new user name)
.account set gmlevel (account name) 3 -1 <---- This command is to make the user a GM - There is a space in between the "3" and the "-1"
Now open your 3.3.5a client's wow.exe and join the Private Server as your account name and password you just created. (If you get the error "MSVC100.dll" while trying to start a server,check out the bottom of the guide for a fix)

Once you have followed Jeutie's guide exactly repeat the process in "<C>".
