What is a printscreen?
A printscreen is a button on your keyboard. When pressing on it the computer makes a virtual 'picture' of your current screen. Current wants to say that, whatever is on your desktop @ the moment, is pictured.
How do i use printscreen?
You can use printscreen for something you want to copy, but you can't. WIth printscreen can you still copy what you want. You can make pictures of your screen, sometimes it's handy to explain things with pictures.
Get the screen what you want to have on picture, bring it to the desktop. (hope you know what i mean) Press the button 'PRT SC' on your keyboard. A picture is now taken.
Where to copy?
When you've pressed the button, a picture is taken. How to view it? Simple, go you 'start'/programs/Bureau-accessoires/paint. This is (mspaint.exe).
You can also open paint by doing this: 'start'/run/mspaint.exe and press on OK.
Once opened paint, you can just press CRTL+V or go to edit, and then press the button 'paste'. Your picture must now be pasted in paint. You can edit any kind of things in paint now.
You can also make a print screen of only the mirror you've opened. Press for that ALT+PRT SC.
saving?
When you're finished, press the button file, save as... and save the image as JPEG! BMP is way larger, you don't need that.
how to show to my friends?
Go to hxxp://imageshack.us/ (or any other photohost) and browse to go to your picture. Go to the place where you've saved the image and press on OK.
After that press on upload. Wait till your image is uploaded. After uploading a new screen will come, which shows all kind of links. Copy the link with the line 'direct link to image'. Give that one to your friends!
how to use that link in forums?
Simple, copy the direct link and past it in the box of your reply. Always use the code [imgw]. Example: [imgw] directlinktoimage [/imgw] then when you post a reply a picture will come up.
