Vexille este un anime japonez care ar putea sa concureze cu orice film SF, abundand in tehnici specifice, abordand teme clasice din domeniu, dar bucurandu-se in acelasi timp de o super tehnica de animatie. Este in acelasi timp povestea clasica a unui supererou, ucis si apoi renascut gratie tehnicii de varf, in stilul Robocop, dar mai mult cyborg decat fiinta umana, readus in sanul fostei sale echipe de interventie, trupa de elita in oarecare masura, comando intergalactic. Aventurile lor pot continua astfel, dar eroii vor constata ca lipseste “feelingul” de altadata; asadar, intr-o lume oricat de robotizata si tehnicizata, liantul de baza este fiinta umana, singurul element stabil, in mod paradoxal intr-un univers high tech. Vexille este elementul feminin, eroina plina de senzualitate, putere de seductie si in acelasi timp neinfricata...
