Plot
The story takes place in Widow's Bay, a quaint town located on an island off the coast of New England. Mayor Tom Loftis is determined to lift a struggling community. Between everyday problems such as the absence of Wi-Fi and unstable cellular coverage, Loftis also has to deal with the mistrust of the inhabitants, who are convinced that the island is cursed. When visitors finally start arriving, everything seems to be going well. But soon the ancient legends of the island begin to take shape, turning hope into a nightmare.
