This album by Little Anthony and The Imperials is an update of their 60s harmony sound, adapted for the 70s. Two arrangers played a key role in this: Thom Bell and Teddy Randazzo. Bell's work gives the album a mellow east coast harmony style, similar to The Stylistics, while Randazzo provides a fuller sound, reminiscent of The Manhattans, which favorably complements Anthony's vocals.
