- The installer determines one of the three main video adapters, and sets the desired Hardware Decoder profile:
- Intel HD Graphics - QuickSync, for Intel Desktop Graphics processors starting with Intel HD Graphics 4000.
- Nvidia - Nvidia CUVID, for NVIDIA Desktop graphics processors starting with GTX 450.
- AMD Radeon - DXVA2 (copy-back) - starting with Windows Vista.
- All profiles in Windows XP except NVIDIA will be exposed on None.
- Also during installation, the player will be optimized for system performance.
