Whether it's helping Napoleon be more assertive at home or convincing Einstein that physics--not used cars--might be his true calling, the heroes of Time Squad do whatever it takes to keep history from unraveling. Together, orphan Otto Osworth, cranky robot Larry 3000 and overzealous time cop Buck Tuddrussel travel back in time from the year 100 million to make sure history happens the right way. Created by Dave Wasson.
For Buck Tuddrussel, there's no problem that a serious display of force cannot solve. Buck comes from a long line of law enforcement officers and it's his mission to do the Tuddrussel family name proud. Unfortunately, his short fuse and lack of common sense tends to get him in a lot of trouble. And even though he tends to complicate situations with his zeal, what he lacks in common sense he makes up for with his gung-ho attitude.
Otto Osworth is the brain and conscience of Time Squad's motley band of history enforcers. He's also an 8-year-old orphan. A self-taught student, Otto revels in the opportunity to not just study history, but to live it. Sometimes, Otto's innocence and naivete get the group into trouble. But Otto also believes that there's no greater reward than a job well done. It's because of his persistence, attention to detail and problem-solving skills that the Time Squad somehow manages to complete their missions successfully.
The Larry 3000 was originally designed as a language translation and etiquette officer, trained in the ways of conversation and manners. But that was a long time ago. Now Larry has been reassigned to maintain the Time Squad's police satellite, including operating the ship's history surveillance equipment and scrubbing the occasional toilet. While Larry spends a lot of time complaining about the indignities that come with his new assignment, ultimately he's a reasonable robot who can be counted on to do the right thing.
