Luminar Neo is the latest editing software suite from Skylum. They announced the product back in September 2021. And since then, anticipation has been building. There’s been a lot of talk over the past few months, with demos and early access versions being the only info we have so far.
Luminar Neo is said to be a step up from Skylum’s previous software release, Luminar AI. Neo isn’t officially going to replace Luminar AI. But it appears to address some of AI’s performance problems.
Like Luminar AI, Neo is an AI-driven photo editing suite. It aims to speed up the editing process with one-click fixes and fast-apply filters. The AI system evaluates the photos, removes unwanted marks, and applies natural-looking effects.
Luminar Neo looks to improve upon these features, increasing speed and performance. Luminar AI is a po
r program, but many users complained that the software was slow and inaccurate. And some even had trouble running AI on brand new PCs.
