The recording captures his performance on September 26, 1996, at the Blunotte Open Air festival in Bellinzona, Switzerland. The 2026 release features a fully restored and remastered version of the original tapes from the RSI (Radiotelevisione svizzera) archives. The setlist spans his solo hits ("Heartbeat", "Cry" and iconic classics from his Bronski Beat and The Communards eras ("Smalltown Boy", "Don’t Leave Me This Way", delivered with the high-energy dance-pop flair characteristic of Somerville’s mid-90s live shows.
